Holiday Gifts and Timing

There is no warmer a feeling than wishing someone a happy holiday, except maybe with a quilt. I was once asked, what are you going to do with all those quilts? Funny thing is, I have very few stacked in my home. In fact, I’m looking at the stack I have available to give away and I count exactly three. That’s it, THREE! Obviously I have many on beds and, of course, the holiday ones ready to go on this week. But, the three stacked in my family room have never been used and the family knows they are not to be touched. They are for giving.

So, what about timing? You may be wondering why Autumn Air is waiting until the first of the year to take your projects. Maybe, you're also wondering if you will be able to have me quilt your projects and gifts during this time next year.
When I decided to start this venture back in September, my first child was just headed to his freshman year in college. Besides the time needed to properly set up my business, I wanted to have time during the holidays to spend with my family, especially for when my son would be at home.
These next few weeks, I'll be basking in the glow of the Christmas season with all my kids at home. But, I am very ready to get started with Autumn Air Quilting as soon as that calendar flips to 2024!
Until then, I hope you can all be home and snuggled in quilted comfort this holiday season and I am very excited to quilt your projects and gifts for next year!
